Located in the busy, buzzin, and restaurant-dense neighbourhood ‘De Pijp’ in Amsterdam, restaurant Floreyn stands out by offering a unique dinner experience to locals and visitors alike. Its chefs offer a new and inviting take on the cuisine from yesteryear.

In collaboration with partners STUDIOSPACIOUS, TMRW set out to distill the essence of dining in a luxurious environment – complementing the historical menu without touching on the clichés that are so often associated with it.

The high-end dishes served at Floreyn are translated to a sophisticated brand and interior design concept. However, the premise of high-end Dutch cuisine can sometimes be countered with tongue-in-cheek details. Staying true to the Dutch cultural habit of self-mockery, the restaurant contains an artwork of ‘drowned’ bikes on the wall, golden NAP indicators that show both the normal Dutch water level and the fact that restaurant guests are casually dining below sea level, as well as a traditional Delft blue tiled logo behind the bar.

Much of the old interior is rescued and repurposed. Reupholstered couches give a ‘polder’ landscape look: a look that is referenced in the felt ceiling. Recoated tabletops mimic the restaurant’s logo.

The glass jars filled with vegetables are a representation of chef Jasper’s scientific and experimental approach to cooking. His focus and passion in working with food are too good to stay hidden behind the doors of the kitchen. So we stuck a camera in his face and placed him on the landing page of the Restaurant Floreyn website.

The SAAS company MagStream developed a new series of products within their existing web based publishing platform called MagStream. These products would give the user a more streamlined user experience. There was also an emphasis on easier collaboration between teams and a completely new payment funnel.

The usual publishing platform called Magstream, which has already been widely used by clients such as ING, AFC Ajax and Arcadis, has been supported by NXT (a publishing platform based on HTML5), Pro (a full mobile experience) and FWD (a linked CRM solution ).

Within a small team of developers and marketers and with TMRW in the UI and Visual design lead, a complete customer experience was mapped out. Based on this insight, TMRW created a new visual and UI design. All assets have been outlined in a brand book and the user experience visuals redesigned.

Unfortunately, these tools have only been able to see the light as Beta. Soon after the launch, MagStream was sold to a larger SAAS party. Nevertheless, TMRW is still proud of the final product and the friendships that came with it.

TMRW developed a new website for Heesterveld Creative Community in collaboration with LabM and Guido Cilissen. The new website prominently features animated illustrations by Guido Cilissen.

The animations not only depict the layout and position of the building, they also shows the activity and enthousiasme of the occupants who make up this great artistic community.

Because the enthusiastic team of HCC has been working with the best-known CMS on the web for years, we added a new version. Of course we made the interface of the back-end even simpler. For the animations we used one of the most used and most versatile Javascript animation platforms: Greensocks.

Every year the people of Amsterdam get to bring those who they admire or love to the attention of the public. Those with enough submissions get to go forward to the election process. They get a shot at the title 'Amsterdammer van het jaar' (Amsterdammer of the year).

TMRW built a website, complete with all the voting software, where you can upload you favourite Amsterdammer. The uploads get a direct review from the committee. When this process is complete and the candidates are put forward you can vote for your favourite candidate. The website is mobile oriented. But has a desktop version to include all generations in the voting process.
